Cloud Nine Event Design (C9ED) was founded in February of 2017 by its current president, Kim Bydlon. The agency is based in West Chester, Pennsylvania, but its services extend to the entire mid-atlantic region. Though a boutique, start-up company, C9ED is fast-growing in a booming industry and will continue to expand both its team and its services.
C9ED approaches event management from a communication perspective. This entails a focus on the message you want your guests and stakeholders to take away from the event, in addition to the details (we are good at those, too!). Not to mention, the team has spent countless hours streamlining its processes with the utmost organization and assembling indispensable planning materials that combine their expertise with information from the industry’s most credited sources.
C9ED Consultants have been carefully selected and thoroughly trained to plan and execute events that impose a lasting message while still providing a modern, valuable and detailed experience. With professional and consistent communication, your consultant will not only make sure every detail is covered, but bare the workload so you can breeze through the planning process with your head in the clouds! At the end of the day, the C9ED promise is to advise you with the most valuable and current industry knowledge, and to plan and execute your event without ever losing sight of your vision. With this strategy, C9ED aims to quickly become a leader in the events industry.

Meet the Founder
Kimberly Bydlon is C9ED’s Founder, President and Sole Proprietor. She is a graduate of West Chester University (WCU) and possesses a B.A. in Communication Studies with a concentration in Event Management. Originally from the Lehigh Valley, Kim is a natural leader who implements unique and original ideas and is recognized for exceptional planning, organization, communication and creative writing skills. Her five years of well-rounded experience planning and executing events comes from various organizations, including country clubs, lodges, entertainment companies and even a corporate networking events company seeded within the technology sector. Kim can view one major aspect of the events industry, live entertainment, from a unique perspective through an ongoing 12-year career as a vocal performer.
Kim planned her very first large-scale event from start to finish during her senior year at WCU. She was blown away by its success after it was endorsed by Miss Pennsylvania United States 2014, awarded a scholarship and adopted by one of the University’s notable student organizations. Kim set her mind and heart to a lifelong career in the hospitality industry on that very day, which had affirmed her passion for events and contributing to the happiness of others. The now biennial event continues to benefit underprivileged female youth around the world. Following her undergraduate career, Kim worked full-time for only two short years before founding C9ED and operating out of her home in the beginning. After gaining some tenure in the events industry, Kim plans to earn several certifications, including one from the International Live Events Association (ILEA) as a Special Events Professional.
